Editorial Policies

Focus and Scope

From 2015 the Norwegian dance magazine På Spissen publishes blind-reviewed research articles. The editorial board wishes to:

  • strengthen the possibilities for research publications within the dance field nationally and internationally
  • stimulate to increased visibility of research on the dance field
  • contribute to new networks of writers and readers of dance research

Up to one blind-reviewed research article per issue will be published from 2015. The articles will be published as an online open access publication on the website www.ps.norskedansekunstnere.no. An abstract of the article will be published in the paper version of På Spissen.

Peer Review Process

To submit a scientific article in På Spissen, the authors are asked to follow the guidelines and send a complete manuscript to the editorial board. The peer review process is double blind.
The editorial board engages blind reviewers that will suggest:

a)      Publication of the existing article

b)      Publication with minor or major revision

c)      That the article is not published

The editorial board sends the report from the blind review to the authors and suggest further process for revision of the text, alternatively rejects the article.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

 

AUTHOR SELF-ARCHIVING

Authors are permitted and encouraged to post manuscripts, incl supplementary material, submitted to this journal on personal or institutional websites, prior to and after publication (while providing the bibliographic details of that publication).
